Welcome again to our Sit on Money Business Ideas! Today we're going to approach a very HOT topic in the field of money making on the Internet: USING FACEBOOK TO GENERATE REVENUES and bring a constant flow of money into your account.

In order to start making money on Facebook there are several directions one can follow. We are going to go through some of these topics and of course leave the subject open to further additions.

First, you must know that the main keyword for profits made through Facebook is EXPOSURE. That's right, Facebook brings you into a social network of millions in just a few minutes! Instead of working your ass off and spend a lot of your allocated budget to build up advertising networks you will be just using the one Facebook already created for you. Like that, a money hunter is indirectly benefiting from the millions of cumulated hours spent on the Facebook network by people all around the world, every single day. People think they are having fun - and they probably do! - but at the same time they are directly working for free for money-starved businessmen who use them intelligently for their own marketing purposes. Imagine only the amount of content Facebook users put online every day - that's thousands of working hours we offer for free to the Facebook owners while no one is forcing us to do so - something to think about!

Facebook offers this amazing tool called FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE. You can sell your old junk to the hundreds of people in your friends list, or just get some traffic directed to your website free of charge. The key element there is the connection between Facebook friends, meaning that whenever someone you particularly watch in your list is displaying something in his/her marketplace space, you have a higher probability of going and check out what's in there. Facebook can create a strong emotional relationship between users that can definitely be used as a marketing tool, and this is only one of them.

A second means to make money through Facebook is to cash in a small amount every time a Facebook user is accessing one of your premium services designed specifically for Facebook. The key here is to design, implement and promote an application with an already strongly "attached" audience (people coming back again and again), which in a second stage you can expand to charge for an additional service. Again, you should think about the emotional impact that specific service will have on your targeted public, since fanatic Facebook users are usually social and emotional people and they will be willing to pay a few bucks in order to know stuff like:
- getting to know who "thinks they are hot" on Facebook;
- who "asked them out" virtually on Facebook;
- who is the person on the entire Facebook network with the highest compatibility in terms of clothes/movies/sex positions/you name it;
- what is the preferred dish of some other Facebook user, etc., etc.

Do NOT overcharge people for such services, as the key issue here is making a whole pile of money from nickels, not catching a big fish and rip him off once and for all. Besides, these services are honestly not much worth paying for, so you might as well stay reasonable when you set up your prices.

If on the other hand your idea is really worth something and you want to develop a serious plan to make money with Facebook then you might want to check out Bay Partners. This is a program supporting financially entrepreneurs developing applications for the Facebook platform. Of course there is a screening process as they cannot allocate money, time and know-how to any nut thinking he's found the holy grail, however if you feel you've got something going then you should give it a try.

Also, there exists the possibility of developing yourself applications for Facebook. That does require some skills, but can be highly profitable. I am not doing it myself so I don't know much about how exactly this is working but if you have some programming skills and some nice ideas then google "programming facebook applications" and find out for yourself. Moreover, there are employment opportunities for Facebook programmers out that don't require you have any ideas at all, but only programming skills - that's more of a programmer job so I won't dwell too much on it but it's still a way to make money through Facebook. If you develop the application yourself then you can name the price for it and the sky will be your limit - that's why I see this direction as potentially more interesting.
