Hi again buckhunters! Last time we discussed some general rules related to smart betting, and you were supposed to deposit some money in your account and bet small on some events of your choice. I'm not sure you captured the key words in your task: BET SMALL! Did you manage to stay away from the temptation of waging your entire capital on a bet you were - oh yea! - POSITIVE IT'S A WINNER?
Maybe it was a winner or maybe it wasn't - that's not the point. What you MUST REMEMBER is that no matter if you win or lose such cowboy bets this is still wrong and the moment you gave in to the impulse of overbetting you are in real trouble. You're on the wrong side of the fence my friend - you're wandering in the losers' camp...Call me crazy, but that's your first REAL lesson - hope you learned it the easy way and not the hard way (by already emptying your account): use your brain, remember your plan and be strong, don't act like an addict. Know your edge (intelligently planning your bets and putting the odds on your side) and cultivate your advantage. NEVER ruin yourself in one blow, no matter how sure (and eventually wrong) you were on that particular bet.
No matter what you did, let's remember this always: NEVER OVERBET, stick to your plan! And let's move on... Are we going to learn when or how to bet effectively? NO, far from it! :) Today I want to teach you the virtues of STAYING OUT. :)
Staying out is actually a bet in itself. You realize that sometimes you simply do not have the right edge, the one you use to make betting profitable for you in the long run, so if you're smart enough you decide to stay out. That's not chickening out - that's actually where intelligent betting starts. I make constant money out of football bets and i can tell you this: I haven't bet for more than 1 week now. Why? Cause there's nothing happening in football right now! The national league games are over, even the cup games are past, all I have left is some South American leagues, Finland, Japan, some friendly matches and others I never heard of or betted on - Thanks, but no thanks. THE EURO 2008 is coming, and everyone's getting ready for the big event.
Oh, by the way: NEVER BET ON FRIENDLY MATCHES! Never, as in never EVER!! The odds suck, you have absolutely no idea what's going on in the field (cause coaches try all sorts of stuff in these games, Italy could lose a game with Albania and nobody would care anyway) - so why take a chance? With only a few days left until the kick-off of EURO 2008 and nothing important happening in the football world right now, staying out is the best thing you can do for your investment. Yes, i call it an investment cause we do it smartly, we have a plan and a money management technique. Gamblers can go right ahead and laugh - there is serious and intelligent betting and I'm here to prove it.
Trust me, as a rookie gambler you have no idea how much you can profit just by staying out and not losing your cash foolishly. This is part of the game just as actual betting, and you must be aware of it. Learn patience and warm yourself up for the EURO 2008 - we'll probably start putting our hands on some real betting next month and I sure hope you'll be around! ;)
Until next time - stay on the safe side, bet responsibly and make sure your fridge is loaded - we're in for some nice EURO 2008 fun this summer!

A Fortune with Google AdSense - Web Site Content
Hey again buck hunters! We're back to Google AdSense - I hope by this time you have your AdSense account open and activated & you are familiar with the program's terms and conditions. If not, please go back to the previous post on the subject. So here we are, everything is ready - it's now time to get down to serious business. First important aspect: where will you be publishing your AdSense ads? Your website content is the most important key to AdSense profit. If you don't already have a clear idea about what your site should be about, here's a few ideas.
First keyword: QUALITY CONTENT. Your website needs good quality and ORIGINAL content. You might be able to drive some traffic to your website by copy/pasting information you find here and there on the internet, but in the long run that can compromise your website image and cost you some legal trouble if you get caught. It's easier to forget about tricking the system and instead focus on good content and good marketing - and besides being the right thing to do it's also more profitable.
Do not start a website on a subject you know nothing about. Do not pick a subject you are not personally interested in - there's no point in writing about cats when you are more of a dog lover. If you are passionate about your website content the quality of your website will increase and your readers will notice that, increasing your targeted audience. Your posts should be as many as possible, but the content IS ESSENTIAL. So for starters you should only think about subjects you are really into. You will have to update your website regularly for optimal results, it will be easier for you to do so if the subject of the website is one of your favorites.
From these subjects, you should choose one that is likely to offer you good feedback from your visitors. If you manage to create a community around your website then you will have a great stream of quality content at your disposal, completely free of charge. All you need to do is intelligently moderate comments and posts and you will see your website growing by the day, with minimum effort from your part. People are encouraged to comment and communicate when they actually find your website to be interesting, so again we have to go back to our first point - quality content.
Then, if AdSense is the main channel through which you are planning to monetize your website you need to think about some specific issues. First, not all ads are equal in value - the value of a click differs according to the ad unit, publishing website, website language and domain.
Generally, from my experience, English remains the best language, as the ad competition for one slot is among the highest. I have a website in my native language with a good traffic and a lot of ad impressions - however the profit generated by AdSense on this website is ridiculously small. My websites in English are by far the champions in terms of revenue - up to 5 times more profitable than any others.
Also, your website quality content may push advertisers to really want a slot on your available ad units, in which case competing offers for, say, a 468X60 banner might push the click price higher, thus generating higher income for you. The higher the traffic and your website reputation, the higher the chance of advertisers focusing on you in particular.
Website content is truly one of the most important factors in monetizing your project. Try to choose a domain in which advertisers would afford to pay expensive clicks - up to you to research and test the most profitable domains. Financial businesses, the world of luxury products and services, rare domains in which you would have less competition and higher exposure, highly competing services desperately trying to occupy their share of the market by advertising everywhere - all these can be interesting directions to speculate. Try to be where the money is! If your website content is of little commercial importance or centered on charity work don't expect to get too much money out of it... A company with a total turnover of a couple of thousand bucks per year will most likely not invest too much in advertising - so the maximum you could get is a few cents per click, insufficient for what we aim for over here. Your aim is to end up having a steady few dollars rate per click, so that 100 clicks per day for instance could actually be a nice profit in your Adsense account at the end of the day. Even 100$ per day is already a profit worth spending a little time on.
For now, I will end here the website content considerations - but trust me, this is where it all starts! Give yourself some time to find a good domain for your project, that would prevent you from abandoning it in just a few days after the launch and wasting your work. Choose a good name for it too, people tend to remember websites with funny or strange names - by the way I hope 'Sit on Money' has already captured your attention ;)
Next time - about choosing the right ads and placing them on your website. About page impressions, clicks and CPM - the keys to Adsense success. And more... Be well and good luck!

Intelligent Betting - 3 Rules to Begin With, What NOT to Do
Hey again buck hunters, Mike here. Back to intelligent betting and how to make some serious cash out of sporting events. I assume you have your account ready and funded by this time and you might have already checked out some of the events this week. Some of the events looked like real winners, right? That's because they are! But are you the winner, or your bookie? Here's where we need to draw a line and see where we stand - we are on the side of the player, or the honest buck-hunter as I like to call myself. I want myself and you to win, and for that we need to be clever and disciplined. So here's your first advice: know who you are betting against! Never forget that things aren't ever the way they look! If your bookie wants you betting on an event/outcome/special then that's exactly why you should NOT follow that suggestion. Keep your head clear of propaganda and follow your own plan. The more you go astray from that plan, the more chances you have of losing your investment and the bookie getting your money.
OK, now that we decided to follow our own plan, let's see how this plan looks like. First, like all good plans, it's really SIMPLE! Rule nr.1 - stick to one sport. I'm serious - no fooling around here and there, betting on snooker players you never heard of or going for the nr.1 tennis player just because he's supposed to win always. Even if that's true, we decide not to care. Pick your favorite sport, the one you know most about, and stick with it. My sport is football, i never put my money on anything else and this is one of the reasons i'm successful overall. NOT LOSING is an essential part of making money in this "business" and yes, you can call it a business as long as you have a plan. I sometimes win and sometimes lose, but the losers have to be part of a larger plan in which winners are a constant and the overall result is a positive curve. More about this in the next posts.
OK, so up till now we have 2 starting principles for successful betting: 1) do NOT go for your bookie's choices, always follow your own and 2) do NOT try to cover more of this business than you are actually capable of, stick to 1 sport. I'll give you one more today, and let you think about them seriously until next time. Here it is, rule number 3: do NOT aim for jackpots! Once again: NEVER, EVER, aim for Jackpots!! Have you ever hit a jackpot? If you haven't, that's because it's highly improbable that you ever hit one. If you have, then just sit and think for a moment: your time is gone, you had your chance, the probability of that happening again is even lower!! Stop chasing ghosts, this is NOT the lottery! Treat this as a business, and you will have a chance to business-like results.
This last rule is one of the cornerstones of my system, so I cannot emphasize it enough. As a person with extensive knowledge in the investments field, I know well that the psychological engines of the investors are mainly fear and greed. The gamblers are not much different, however for them greed seems to be much stronger than anything else. They want ALL the money from the table, and that's because they are supposedly so damn good, so intuitive, so extremely skilled in sports and hey! what the hack!! soooo lucky too!! They think they have it all, so they deserve it, right? Wrong! One minor thing goes wrong, the whole thing blows in their face and the bookie gets their money, leaving them with an unfulfilled dream and an empty pocket. It's often a cheap dream, but nevertheless it costs money and the bookies LOVE free rides. A sea of dreamers and greedy losers equals a sea of opportunities for the bookies.
We don't want to belong to this emotional crowd, so we must respect this third rule in all our bets: we don't shoot for the moon only to miss by an inch (or more), but shoot for the closest bird in sight. The clearer and closer the target - regardless of the profit - the more we get interested. That's what the losers fail to do, that's what WE shall do, and that's why we can make some real money. This is the wildest secret of successful betting, and those of you sticking around will be able to see with live examples what I'm talking about. Stupid gamblers are impulsive and greedy, so we have to control our impulses and our greed. If you manage to do this trust me - you're already half way there!
Until next time (I promise this will get more interesting as we advance to more direct applications of this knowledge in real betting), I give you a task: open your Gamebookers account, choose football, and pick 3 bets. Just combine on your slip whatever you like, as many events as you like, and take those bets with real money. How much? Well, let's assume your account is 1000 units - take each bet with 5 units or less. Make it ridiculously small, as the whole purpose of the exercise is to learn something. Check the results, and e-mail me your conclusions - I'll refer to them next time.
In the next post, I want to discuss about choices - what we choose to bet on and what we must simply ignore. All bets involve a certain amount of luck - there's no such thing as a sure bet, whatever you bet on! You can NEVER be sure that your bet is going to be a win, anything can happen. But there is a HUGE difference between educated gamblers and monkey players throwing their money anywhere, just because "look, there's no football today, let's bet on scuba-diving instead!". Keep your discipline no matter what, stick to your plan, always.
I hope you haven't lost interest in following our series. Stay close, next we will take this a step further and I'll tell you all about what kind of bets you should take and what to avoid. In the meantime, don't gamble your shirt and be patient! Try to "make your hand" on very small bets - winners or losers, at this point it's not really important. What is more important is that you accumulate some rookie experience without losing too much of your initial investment. Once you will see for yourself how losing feels it will be easier for you to get out of the loser's framework of mind. Once we get rid of this a new, intelligent gambler will be born - and that's when the real fun starts and the cash begins to flow in! ;)
Stay safe and see you soon!

Intelligent Betting with Gamebookers
OK, let's take a break from websites and ads for a moment and approach a different direction for profit making: intelligent betting on sports events. Just like everywhere, in gambling there are winners and losers, and most often the players are the biiig losers. No surprises here, right? If that weren't true then all the bookies and businesses centered around gambling (there are a lot by the way, & doing great!) would be wasting their time while giving away money, tons of it!
In all this there's good news and bad news for us, the honest buck-hunters.
The bad news is that in our attempt to beat the odds the bookies set against us we need to be much more than one step ahead of them. We know this before we even bet, we have to learn to live with it and accept it as a condition to stay in the game. On the other hand, we know what there is to know and we lift up our odds by using a sound, balanced, intelligent betting strategy, which Im going to introduce to you right here in this section of the blog. It's true it involves knowing your teams and having some interest in your favorite sport to use it effectively, but the real good news is: it works! I'm making constant cash out of it, and I'll show you how to do the same, much for my personal satisfaction and our bookie's despair! :)
Winning players are for bookies just a drop of water in the ocean - they don't make too much of a difference since their clients are in their vast majority professional career losers, and that's enough to keep the business going. However, some bookies still want to have a clear control over those players making constant cash. We don't want that... So, the first step to be done is to open a betting account with a serious company, known to be honest and transparent in their practices. In all my years of betting with Gamebookers I never had any problems and they always handled my payments fast and fair - you can choose them with confidence. Just click here to open your account, deposit your starting balance (make sure you don't deposit too much, or you'll be tempted to break your own rules), and stand by for the next post. We'll explore together how we can triple our cash every month by using a simple yet very effective technique involving risk management and key psychological factors. Get ready and stay close, this will be fun! ;)

A Fortune with Google AdSense - Getting Started
Last time I started talking about website design, and we'll get back to that topic. At the same time (and in close relation to the website development topic) let's start exploring what AdSense (Google's program for advertisers and publishers) can do for an online money hunter and how we can use this instrument to achieve constant gains. This will be a long topic, but we need to give each step proper attention - this is one of the easiest, safest and most rewarding directions I will be following on the blog. Take this seriously and the ads will give you a steady flow of cash in your account, with a minimum effort, in no more than a few months.
Adsense is an advertiser-to-publisher connection, out of which Google takes more than a fair share. They do their best to keep up the quality of the program, so that everyone's happy, and they're doing a pretty good job so far if you ask me. Publishers pay Google to have their ads displayed on relevant websites, Google finds your website to be relevant and automatically redirects the guy's ad on your site. Somebody finds that ad on the Internet and finds it intriguing (for some reasons we want to know ALL ABOUT!:), so here's where the CLICK occurs. That user finds an interesting website, the advertiser gets a potential customer browsing his site (where the visitor goes from here is not our business anymore as publishers), Google gets their money from the advertiser, you get a share of that profit from Google. Best part: everybody's happy...
Google will always work to increase their revenues for their program (it's a business, remember?), and that means higher revenues for you too, as a publisher. They will pay you fair and square no matter how much you make- no problem here - so there's no risk of being taken for a ride. Their customer support is generally pretty good, so if there's any problem you have a good chance of getting it solved fast. Overall, this direction can make you from a lousy few hundred bucks profit during the first 2-3 months up to 3000-5000$ monthly after 1-2 years, provided that you do a good job. And that's why we are here for, right? ;) Don't worry, little by little we will touch all the important tips and tricks of this business (and others for sure) and you will see for yourself at no risk that this kind of profits are actually achievable.
So, let's get started! First, login to the Adsense homepage and get accustomed with the basics.
Read carefully the "Learn about AdSense" section and open your account. By this time you should already have a website with some space for displaying ads. Once your account is approved (takes a few days) you can build your first ads and start displaying them on your website. Just make sure you respect google's terms and conditions of service, as any invalid ads might invalidate your gains and you risk having your account suspended.
Also, avoid trying to cheat by clicking on your own ads (or have your friends do it for you) - if you do it intelligently you might get credited some bucks right away, however - trust me - this is not in your best interest overall. If your ads do not produce some results for advertisers then they might lose interest in having your website on their list, which of course will lead to lower competition for your remaining ads, resulting in cheaper clicks. It's not enough to have hundreds of clicks per day - once you have good traffic and a decent rate of click on your ads you will start focusing more and more on trying to increase competition on your ad slots and raise the value of each valid click.
But we're getting ahead of ourselves...:) For now, the focus should be on exploring the possibilities offered by this serious Google program. Browse through the entire adsense website, get subscribed to the forum and read the recommendations for publishers. They are given to you in good intention, since the more you make the better for them (Google earns a substantial profit from Adsense so obviously they want to keep it rolling better and better) - you can trust their advice to be sincere and in your best interest. Learn how to create and modify the appearance of the ads - this will prove really useful during the next steps we will take together. Learn to create channels in adsense, we'll discuss soon all about using them for monitoring the performance of our campaigns. For any question at this stage please send me a note, I'll be happy to give you a hand.
Finally, Id like to make an important note regarding adsense, and the funny thing is that it's NOT related to adsense at all :) It's related to THE WEBSITE YOU WILL BE PUBLISHING YOUR ADS ON. The website design has to be 1) adsense-friendly from a technical point of view (ill come back to this in the Website Design section soon); 2) well targeted in terms of colors & "flavor" and 3) capable of offering your ads the exposure they need to generate a high rate of click. The website is where your Adsense success starts. I'll soon tell you about my own experience with various websites using Adsense and what I learned from these ups and downs.
Also, website content is CRUCIAL. Choose the wrong content and you'll find yourself struggling for a few cents after many months of hard work. This is a separate discussion altogether, I'll come back to it in a future post.
Good luck getting your adsense account started!

Managing a Website - Getting Started, Design Guidelines (I)
Hi everybody! I'll start our journey with the most general of the directions I want to propose to you for gaining some nice and constant profits online: DESIGNING AND MANAGING A WEBSITE. It's the topic we shall keep coming back to over and over, since this is not an overnight or one-step venture and there are lots of things to discuss (especially ONLINE MARKETING TECHNIQUES aimed at maximizing profits from your website). Moreover, many of the instruments we shall analyze together are best presented via a website, so this must be our starting point.
Nowadays it's not difficult to either find free website templates on the web or design a simple/complex website by yourself. If you are picky, have specific needs and know what you want you should probably have it done by a professional web designer. In any case, you can have it ready in a matter of days, it could look really great but that's no guarantee it will make you more than a few pennies.. Here are a few things to keep in mind for starters (I'm referring to web site design only in what follows):
These are all just preliminary steps for designing your website and they are by no means an exhaustive guide to web design. For more resources on how to design a professionally-looking website or where to find an affordable professional web designer you might want to check the links below.
Next on this topic we will discuss how to choose the theme/domain of a profitable website, how to plan the content and the best marketing strategy to monetize it. Stay close!

Do you want to literally SIT ON MONEY?
You may roll your eyes all you want, but I'm sure you do! You may think sitting on a huge pile of money just isn't for you, that "you had to work hard for every penny all your life" and this is just another scheme... I know, heard that before... :) I'm not saying you will get it overnight. Nor that this will be work-free. I'm saying it's possible, and you can have it. There's no catch, I am really going to show you HOW, and you don't have to pay me one dime of your own money. I'm Mike, and I'm going to show you how to "sit on money" and laugh at the world while having the time of your life.
The real purpose why you found this page in the first place is that "you're looking for something", something you know it's "out there": a way to make a decent living by smartly using this crazy instrument called "the Internet". You may be just like me, someone independent, that hates 9 to 5 schedules and being bossed around by some jerk... I know where you're coming from. Here's what I'm proposing to you: no stealing, no hassling, no cheating, no spamming, no porn - let's just find out together where money is on the internet, find our way to it, take our fair and honest share out of it and build a pile of dollars under our butts!
Sounds too good to be true? I know, but you're supposed to be a person who likes a challenge, remember? It's all risk-free and all you have to do is follow our steps, one by one, until with a couple of cents here and a couple of bucks there we will all reach the financial freedom we've been looking for all our lives.
I will propose you directions where you can start building your millions of cents empire, wherever and whenever I find them - show you how to start, how to develop each direction and how to maximize profits. Be it big or small cash - we want it! We want our small cut of each business we come across on the net. If there's prospect to make even a buck or two, we must take it! Be patient, and don't lose faith. We can do this, and I really want to prove it to you!
So, let's get down to work, shall we? ;)
